Provide custom parameters
To segment audiences more precisely in Google Ads, you can pass on custom parameters. The name of these parameters is chosen according to the specifics of your website.
For example, visitor type (visitor_type
) can be used to segment visitors in Google Ads according to their type.
To activate this feature, check the Provide custom parameters box in the Marketing Google Ads tag.
Then send this parameter to event data and choose the Event data data source.
Or explicitly specify which parameters to send and their values by choosing Custom configuration.
